How to upload a new asset
To upload a new asset, press the Upload Files button located at the top right.
This will open the file upload modal, where you can upload compatible files by dragging and dropping from your file explorer, or by clicking the modal which will open a file explorer window in-browser.
Note: you can also upload a file by simply dragging and dropping directly into the dashboard.
After uploading a compatible file, you should see a success message.
Press the FINISH button and you should see the new file in the dashboard. The Polyhive platform automatically generates a thumbnail image so you can quickly identify assets visually.
If you want to change the thumbnail image to be from a different angle, you can update it by going to the asset detail view and following the steps for generating a new thumbnail image.
