API Keys
Learn more about creating and using API keys
The API keys page allows you to view and manage the API keys created for your organization. An API key is used to access your organizations assets from any application that integrates our SDK. As a result, it is critical that you keep your API keys secret and do not share them outside your organization! To view the API keys page, click the user icon at the top right of the dashboard, and then click the API Keys button:
The API key page will display information of all the currently active API keys for your organization, including their alias, creation data, and permissions.
You can also press the SHOW KEY button to view the first five characters of your API key. The full API key is only visible when you first create the API key, so be sure to save it somewhere safe when you make it! We restrict viewing the full API key in the dashboard for your security.
Creating new API keys
To create a new API keys, navigate to the API keys page and press the CREATE API KEY button located on the top right:
After creating the API key, you will be able to view the full API key by pressing the SHOW KEY button on the API key entry in the table.
The full API key is only visible right after you create it, so be sure to save this somewhere safe! After you leave the page, you will only be able to see the first 5 characters of the API key for security.
